Applications are open for reimbursement of eligible education, training and professional development with registration payments occurring between January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026.

Submit your application by Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Funding is allocated in the order completed applications are received.

How to apply

  1. Complete the Request for Reimbursement Application and submit to your direct supervisor for approval

  2. Email the approved application to the Committee at WAPSO-PD-FUND@winnipeg.ca. If you submit the form yourself, copy your supervisor.

  3. The Committee will email you and your supervisor with its decision

  4. If approved, submit the following to your departmental Payroll Contact:

o   Approved Request for Reimbursement Application

o   Committee approval email

o   Proof of payment

  1. Reimbursement will be processed through regular payroll as an adjustment

Notes: Proof of payment is required before reimbursement can be issued. The Committee may award additional funds above the maximum if funds are not exhausted prior to the end of year.
