Robert (Bob) Young - Executive Director

Bob started with WAPSO in August of 2004 as the Assistant Director. Following Lorraine Sebastian's retirement in 2006 Bob was promoted to the Executive Director's position. Bob comes to WAPSO with extensive experience in labour relations through his work with the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals (MAHCP) and the Manitoba Government Employees Union (MGEU).

Bill Comstock - Labour Relations Specialist

Bill joined the WAPSO staff in July of 2006. Bill's strengths are in labour law and contract negotiations. He brings extensive experience and knowledge from his years of employment with MGEU and the Institutional Employees Union.

Audrey Henschell - Executive Assistant

Audrey has worked at WAPSO since June of 1995 at which time she was the Administrative Assistant. Following the birth of her son, she went part-time in a job-share arrangement with Val Verity. In February of 2006 she was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant. Audrey brings organizational expertise and manages the administrative, human resources, and communication functions for the office.

Val Verity - Administrative Assistant

Val started with WAPSO in November of 1999 in a term position covering a maternity leave. Following the term appointment she was offered a part-time position in a job-share arrangement with the Administrative Assistant. Val is our front-line contact person when you contact the office. She also is our support staff for accounting, dues collection and research. She brings cheerfulness to the office that is contagious.
